Crema's Take
“Tucked into Jackson with genuine Western charm, Cowboy Coffee nails both the craft espresso drinks and the regional spirit—think huckleberry mudpot lattes and elk chili alongside impeccable iced lattes that'll make you come back days in a row. The baristas here are patient and genuinely kind, creating a chill, welcoming vibe that works equally well for solo coffee contemplation or lingering with a group of friends, and their signature creations prove they're not just leaning on the cowboy aesthetic but actually executing creative, balanced flavors.”

I came here a couple days ago with my friends and we all loved it! The baristas were so kind and patient with our larger group. I got a chai and the cowboy croissant and it was so yummy! Their branding is so cool too, I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
What a cool coffee space! Love the branding, and variety of drink and food options. Got the huckleberry mudpot latte and it tasted good plus it wasn't too sweet. We weren't hungry so didn't quite get any food to try. Glad we got a table and was able to order immediately! ☕
Cowboy Coffee is amazing! Hands down one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had - and definitely the best coffee we had on our entire trip. We loved it so much we went back multiple times! The coffee is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced every single time. It’s clearly a local favorite too - there’s always a line, but it moves fast and is absolutely worth the wait. Great vibe, friendly staff, and top-notch coffee. A must-stop if you’re in Jackson Hole!
The Elk Chili was amazing—definitely a must-try! The atmosphere is great, with a chill vibe that makes it a perfect place to sit down and enjoy a coffee. There’s also outdoor seating, plus cute merchandise inside. The smoothies were delicious as well. The reason this is a 4-star review instead of 5 is the coffee. We ordered the Honey Badger without cayenne, which should have been a honey and cinnamon coffee. Instead, both drinks tasted overwhelmingly of cinnamon with little to no honey, and there was a lot of cinnamon sediment at the bottom. More balance with the honey would have made it much better.
All the research for food in Jackson led me to Cowboy Coffee Co. And for good reason. The place was understandably packed. It’s small inside, but there are a few tables and a bar along the back. In addition to the food and drinks, they have a variety of items for sale. Souvenirs, hats, shirts, etc. They also offer a variety of food options, including breakfast sammiches, muffins, etc. I’m not a coffee drinker but my wife is, and and she very much enjoyed her drink (a “Honey Badger”), and a chocolate muffin. I enjoyed my Lotus Energy (pink lemonade) and “Cowboy Croissant”. After securing our items (and a couple souvenirs for the wifey), we walked across the street to the main square. We took pictures under the famous antler arches, and walked through the peaceful park. The business in Cowboy Coffee never died down. Don’t pass up a chance to visit Cowboy Coffee Co. on your visit to Jackson, WY.
