Such a welcoming and relaxing place to sit and enjoy top notch coffee. If you are a coffee enthusiast, you NEED to come by. Taki is so passionate in his craft and puts so much love and care into every drink he makes. Once you have experienced the artistry he provides, it’ll only make you come back for more.
A fun place to grab a latte or chai and watch some people get their dance on (or join yourself)! Taki runs the cafe and does an exceptional job at crafting a perfect drink and making you feel seen. Our drinks were not only delicious but also beautiful! He even pays attention to the little details like the matching cups and plates they sit on. This is somewhere we’ll absolutely be back to and hope to even take a dance lessons at 🕺
I love coming here! I won't get matcha from anywhere else, for the most part. The matcha is high quality and delicious. The chai is made in-house and is great as well. Always some interesting seasonal syrups to choose from. And Taki (the barista) is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about coffee! Highly recommend.

Today, I finally got to try the coffee lounge! I went bright and early before work to take my time and enjoy my cup of coffee, and it was absolutely perfect. Taki, the coffee head barista, did an outstanding job with my brown sugar cinnamon latte. The design, the presentation, the taste—everything was spot on! There are also delicious bites and treats available. If you’ve never had anything from Borinquen Bakery in New Britain, now is the perfect time to try! Everything is freshly made daily. The atmosphere is so calming, with plenty of tables to sit, eat, and drink. Definitely check it out!
