Crema's Take
“Canaltown Coffee Roasters is a genuine roastery where you can actually meet the passionate owner and taste beans roasted on-site, complete with a charming wall of vintage bean dispensers that sets the tone for an authentically old-school coffee experience. The knowledgeable baristas craft exceptional espresso drinks like lattes that locals rave about, and there's an impressive selection of single-origin and flavored decafs that show real care in their sourcing. Whether you're settling in with a laptop for the afternoon or stopping by for a quick pour-over, the combination of stellar customer service, cozy seating, and that unmistakable aroma of fresh roasts makes this a place that genuinely reignites your passion for specialty coffee.”

Very great customer service, and the employees seem very dedicated and fairly knowledgeable. Lots of variety. It is even better when you can catch the owner/roaster. Snow storm or shine, they've got you!
My passion for coffee shops is still alive and kicking and Canaltown Coffee Roasters didn’t dampen that passion. It’s nice to visit a real coffee roaster’s. Val was fantastic. For my partner Val recommended a Cuban Double Espresso and that Plant Milk was the best alternative for the Apple Dirty Chai. He thoroughly enjoyed his drinks. I ordered the Caramel Spice Latte and it was delicious. The service was good. There is plenty of seating indoors and a few tables outside. Loved the cute fresh flower arrangements on the tables. A very chilled out cafe with friends chatting away and people working quietly on laptops. There is plenty of parking.
First time stopping in and quite pleased at the selection of decaf flavored coffee beans. Tried almond joi and Jamaican me crazy! Both were a great a bit on the darker side but definitely recommend.
Smells great inside; so many flavors of freshly roasted beans. The oat milk latte was pretty good, and I appreciated that there’s plenty of seating plus free WiFi. Italian biscotti was good too. Sadly the syrups used for coffee flavors are artificial, so I didn’t get a flavor. But coffee is good!
This place oozes old school cool with a wall of vintage bean dispensers right as you walk in! The baristas are friendly and made me one of the best lattes I've ever had! Really looking forward to going back for beans and another latte next time I'm in the city.
