Crema's Take

This cozy independent spot near the convention center excels at creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere where you can actually settle in with your laptop or just breathe for a while. The baristas clearly take pride in their craft—reviewers consistently praise their kindness and professionalism—and they handle both classic espresso-based drinks and creative specialty options like lavender lattes with equal care. It's small and intimate rather than flashy, the kind of place where the quiet vibe and friendly counter staff make you feel like a regular even on your first visit.

Great guy working the counter today. Kind and professional. As a business owner I appreciate that!

Got a decaf lavender latte here while coming through Indianapolis on the bus. This was a lot better spot to hang out and get some work done than the greyhound station and the baristas were friendly.

Great coffee shop! Some construction may be around the building, but I had a great visit! Smaller in size, but plenty of seats to just chill and relax. Great people that took my order and thankful for a great first time visit. I appreciate the conversation!

I ended up going to this place simply because it was within walking distance of my job. It's a quiet and small coffee shop which is nice. The drink I got was also pretty good. Like previous reviews have stated, the barista is not the nicest. She is very off putting and acted as if she did not want to serve me and do her job.

Nice little independent coffee shop next to the convention center and close to hotels for those who are visiting like me. It’s hidden behind large temporary cooling towers and was temporarily rebranded during the Olympic swim trials as “Speedo cafe”. They only had one coffee bean for both drip and espresso, a medium roast of an unknown origin blend from a local roaster (I forget the name but they have a wiener dog for a logo). There is limited seating inside but there is some outside as well. Nice atmosphere when it’s not crowded.
