Crema's Take

This cozy neighborhood gem seamlessly blends a serious espresso bar with a thoughtfully curated grocery selection, creating a space where you can linger over a perfectly pulled shot or silky latte while nibbling on house-made pastries and a full breakfast menu. The vintage, relaxing atmosphere and attentive service make it an ideal spot to settle in for a meeting or simply escape, and the addition of a kids' play area shows real thoughtfulness for the community it serves.

I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was very good. I will be back to try out other items soon. Good addition to the neighborhood!

Las Brujas Coffee & Grocery is such a gem in Baton Rouge! I stopped in recently and was seriously impressed. I picked up a strawberry muffin, and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly soft, moist, and packed with fresh strawberry flavor without being overly sweet. I also grabbed a loaf of sourdough bread, and it did not disappoint. It had that amazing crusty exterior with a soft interior. It tasted fresh and high-quality. One thing I absolutely LOVED is that they sell products from local farmers. It’s so nice to see a business supporting the local community while offering fresh, unique items you won’t find just anywhere. The overall vibe of the shop is cozy and welcoming, and it feels like a place you want to come back to. Between the baked goods, the atmosphere, and their support for local producers, Las Brujas definitely stands out. I’ll definitely be returning to try more!

Such good coffee and service! Had the breakfast burrito and it was so good. A small kids area too which is nice to come grab a coffee with a toddler and be able to let them play! Great addition to government street. Definitely will be back!

I ordered a vanilla cream latte. It was almost 10 dollars for sub milk which is fair, the milk is made in house and prices have been going up. This is how I was handed my drink- it was not filled to the top, not even with ice? For the price, I was expecting that it would at least be filled to the top. I was honestly looking forward to trying this place, super disappointed.
