Kindred Coffee

There is no reason to go to a chain when you can experience a cool place like this. Patrons and staff were all cool, too. Kinda smelled like Liberal Arts in there, but coffee and food was lovely

I absolutely loved my experience at Kindred Coffee. Everything about this place felt right from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of great vibes — it’s the kind of place where you actually want to slow down and enjoy your time. The food was incredible, especially the vegan options, which were thoughtfully made and full of flavor. You can tell there’s a lot of care behind what they do. This is easily one of those spots that makes you want to come back again and again.

our favorite coffee shop in iowa city! The Flapjack latte is the absolute best. Always a good atmosphere and the workers are very nice. They change their specials a lot and offer great new drinks.

Best coffee in a looooong time. Amazing but messy food! Mage sure their napkins are stocked before your first bite. Great buffalo chickpea sandwich. Very vegan friendly!

Food was great. Best latte of my life. I will say the service was subpar, not super friendly. Completely, gluten free! They also didn’t have straws for their in house drinks which I thought was odd. Would have loved even a metal or glass straw. But overall, a great atmosphere and wonderful product. The banana bread wasn’t too sweet (which is good) and the smoothie bowl was fantastic.
