The Egg

As part of a large group, we were seated in the meeting room. Wonderful food and expert service were much appreciated. I liked that we paid individually at the front desk, rather than have to wait until everyone got, and paid, her bill. I wish there were more soft surfaces to help absorb the din, as I had trouble hearing - even just across the table. Otherwise, it was a great place to have breakfast or lunch.

Wow!! I thought that Sunnyside Up Restuarant was great in Albuquerque & it was—but this Restuarant surpassed them—maybe because we had a better waitress! I told her I wanted extra greens!! She put them on the plate as well as the plenty of greens in my veggie Benedict—it was amazing healthy delicious!!! She was spot on with every detail of our order—and made sure we were well fed and plenty of water for drink!! I wish I could’ve remembered her name—she had a little limp in her gait—but she didn’t hesitate to be attentive and kind. My husbands frittata was also very good!! He wanted hashbrowns which they didn’t have, but he got plenty of English muffins when the cook forgot the biscuit. And our waitress checked and saw this & rectified this! Great place to eat at any time—wish they had one in our state of AL!!

First time visiting this town and our breakfast was sooo GOOD! Friendly service for sure.😊 Thank you, The Egg of Ft. Smith! Our orders: Avocado and chicken omelet with roasted potatoes and croissant. + coffee Eggs sunny side up with bacon and a cinnamon/apple pancake (gluten free). + coffee

The food was so delicious, and service was great! Got the huevos rancheros with pork green chili, and that sauce was fantastic! Also got the hikers benedict, and the greens that came with that were probably my favorite part of the whole meal! So bright and fresh. We both asked for poached easy, and they cooked those eggs perfectly--jiggly and runny and beautiful--the very first time! They know their namesake. Definitely a great experience!

The food was excellent! And people are so friendly. 😊 We were there on a Thursday at lunch time, but were able to get a table right away and did not wait long for our food. The fresh orange juice is so good.
