Crema's Take
“Tucked into Capitola, this newly renovated New Leaf Community Markets is a bright, welcoming spot where you can grab an excellent full breakfast or lunch without the usual cafe fuss—think perfectly executed chipotle chicken and bacon sandwiches alongside quality coffee drinks. The staff genuinely cares about making you feel at home, the space is immaculate, and it's got the convenience of parking and quick service that makes it a natural go-to for your morning coffee run or lunch break.”

First of all the staff needs to be able to read when asking if my dog is a service dog as I tried to show him my epilepsy tags and tattoo and he responded by I don't know what that means and then told me and my service dog I needed to leave. That's never happened on the Westside store so now I'm wondering if I should proceed with legal assistance and action in regards to this manner. Second your produce selection is extremely small and disappointing for what is supposed to be a healthier store. Since I can't reply to your message, I'll do it here. Yes my dog is a service dog for my epilepsy. Like I told you in the review and your inept store employee and from the looks of it you are just inept as your employee. California education system is seriously failing you people in simple reading skills. Go look ADA service dog laws.
The Chipotle Chicken & Bacon Sandwich from New Leaf Community Markets is hands-down a 10/10 and my absolute go to order. The chipotle sauce has the perfect smoky kick, the chicken is juicy, and the bacon actually shows up and does its job. Everything is balanced perfectly on a solid French roll that doesn’t fall apart halfway through. It’s consistently good, filling, and worth every penny. If you don’t know what to order, this is the one. No hesitation, no regrets , just a really good sandwich every time. I’ve been to all new leafs in Santa Cruz
Store is great but they draw you in with really nice coupons then are out of stock and don’t do substitutions. And if it’s the last day in the small window you’re out of luck…they just say..we don’t have better luck next time. If this happened just a couple times I’d be fine with it as I’ve worked in retail but it happens enough to be disappointing and loses trust with me. Find a better system.
Beautiful new store, recently opened. I stopped in for my lunch break. It was early in the morning and was able to grab a hot breakfast. Scrambled eggs, and some sausage. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Everyone seemed to be happy and made the environment pleasant. I aprreciate the outdoor table and chairs. Plenty of parking.
Great looking store and really clean in and outside of the store. The customer relations is 5-Star! The selection is vast and with lots of healthy selections for your conscious. I love the smell of the fresh food being created and delivered to the customers waiting. A definitely must for the area and I will definitely be shopping here.
