Crema's Take

Tucked beside the Claremont hotel, this relaxed neighborhood spot serves Equator coffee that hits that sweet spot between smooth and flavorful, paired with genuinely excellent pastries like their standout chocolate pain au chocolat. The staff here genuinely care—reviewers consistently praise their warmth and attentiveness—making it equally perfect for a quick caffeine fix or settling in with games and friends, though the ordering line can occasionally move slower than you'd hope. It's the kind of place that wins people over as a hidden gem, especially for those who stumbled past the crowded bakeries down the street.

The cutest little coffee shop attached to the Claremont. The service was impeccable. Attentive, kind, friendly, and warm. The drinks were delicious. Plenty of little snacks for hungry mouths. Games for playing. My wife would get a soy cappuccino in a ceramic mug every morning. I'd get a hot tea with honey, and a chai with almond milk later. Prices were reasonable compared to how much shops nowadays. Excellent shop! Highly recommended!!

A relaxed cafe off the Coach Entrance at The Claremont. Reasonable prices and good coffee.

The coffee and muffin were delicious, but the line to order was waaaaay too slow. Not sure if it's an issue with the technology or the people. Both the person who took the order and the woman delivering the coffee were very polite. It's a sweet place to have a bite and coffee, with a nice view.

Service is extremely friendly here, I’ve never had a bad interaction with the staff. The coffee served is Equator coffee which is not too bitter but not too bland; just the way I like it. The pastries are massive and so good. I definitely would recommending allowing yourself this treat. The decor here is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and they have a wonderful window that allows you to look outside and on a clear day, you can see San Francisco. There are chairs inside but there are lawn chairs set up outside that you are welcome to sit on. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because a latte was $7 which to me is overpriced. And yes, I know it’s overpriced because it’s the Claremont but I think $7 for a coffee is a bit outrageous. Other than that, I would definitely come back again. In terms of parking, I was able to park in the parking lot and there was plenty of parking here. Instagram: @florazambakari

Originally, I tried to go to the super famous bakery down the street, but it was incredibly crowded so I came here. I ordered the chocolate au pain croissant, and it was absolutely delicious! So filling and so tasty.
