Crema's Take

This San Gabriel spot brings together Vietnamese coffee culture and creative boba innovation, earning praise for bold signature drinks like their Smash Avocado and Durian (complete with rainbow jelly) and their beloved Honey Green Tea. The casual vibe makes it perfect for a quick grab, and their willingness to accommodate group orders for events like teacher appreciation shows genuine community spirit. While the experience is unpretentious and the value solid, it's the adventurous drink menu that keeps people coming back, even if the shop's modest aesthetics don't always match the Instagram appeal.

Our favorites are Honey Green Tea and Vietnamese coffee slush. Their restroom used to be available for customers to use, but now it's always closed. It said out of order but saw an employee used the restroom so looks like it's only for the employees. Also not a fan of their rewards system. It's not available on Clover app like Sharetea, where you can see online how many points you currently have. So you have to ask how many points do you have everytime you order. It just seems a hassle & incovenient, so you wouldn't redeem your free drinks. Really wanted to like this tea shop because their drinks are pretty good but probably won't be back.

It was a hot day, so I was looking for a refreshing drink. Made my way to Neighbors Tea House for my must grab drink, Smash Avocado and Durian. This drink comes with rainbow jelly, but I also got this was honey boba. This drink had the perfect balance of being sweet and icy. It was very refreshing and exactly what I needed that day. This store is located in a plaza with plenty of parking spot. The store itself was pretty small on the inside and it didn’t really hit inside that day. It wasn’t busy at 5 pm, so I was able to get my order right away. They do accept American Express.

Great service, great drinks, and great value! In preparation for Teacher Appreciation week, Neighbors Tea House delivered! I was looking to setup a boba bar for our teachers and staff. Stacy was able to help me pick out flavors that everyone would enjoy - milk tea, Thai tea, and tropical fruit tea. Along with honey boba and lychee jelly. I ordered some smaller cups and Neighbors gave me some cute stickers to tie it all together. This was our 3rd time ordering from Neighbors for teacher appreciation and I will be back again next year!

The pictures on the reviews made this place look nicer than it was actually in person. Not much to say other than decent price for a decent amount served. The matcha milk tea was alright. Service was slow. One thing I usually don’t like about tea houses is when they don’t make their boba in house. Instead I saw a bunch of preserved boba . The walls could use a bit of cleaning and they definitely need new seats.

Found this on the way home. It serves boba drink and also something that you usually find in Vietnamese dessert drink place like durian related drink. Overall the drink is tasty but the durian and avocado one a bit pricey.
