Baxter & Frost

Four main stars only because it can be pricy, but all the separate categories are five. Cozy place, been here a few times and only tried their pastries and cookies, which were very good. They also have coffee (and bags of beans!) and ice cream, which is for a future trip. Decided to write this review after trying the cinnamon roll for the first time. Big fan of cinnamon in general, but these are not like the cloyingly sweet, giant rolls in some other shops. It was bready and salty, with a touch of cinnamon; the main sweetness came from the icing drizzle. Highly recommend getting one of these.

This place was a unique little spot we ran into. They offer coffee, cookies, pies n brownies. The price is a bit expensive but they have a punch of flavor. I had a taste of one of the brownies my son in law purchased and it was very good. There is so much to choose from and if you’re in the neighborhood, I think you will enjoy stopping in.

Came in with intention to buy chocolate chip cookie but when I saw the brownies I immediately pointed to the walnut brownie and a large hot latte to go with it. The brownie was good but really not to my liking. I like mine moist on inside and slightly crunchy on the edges. This brownie had some crunch on one side but the inside was cakey and a bit dry imo. I like this place for the friendliness of staff and tables in the shop where you can sit and enjoy your treat as long as you want.

Baxter & Frost offered some truly delicious treats! I had their cookie (not pictured) and their brownie. Both were good. The chocolate chip cookie had the perfect balance—crispy edges and a soft, chewy center. The brownie was rich and moist, with a deep, indulgent chocolate flavor that was absolutely satisfying.
