Crema's Take

Third Place Coffee House feels like stepping into the beloved Central Perk from Friends, where David's genuine warmth makes every visit feel like coming home to neighbors rather than strangers. Beyond their reliably excellent coffee and thoughtfully curated pastries (including bagels from Raleigh's best bagel shop), this spot has mastered the art of being everything at once—a serious coffee destination, a comfortable workspace, and a genuine gathering place where locals linger in cushy chairs over monthly specialty drink creations.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent coffee, and they even have bagels from the best shop in town. The owner, David, is incredibly welcoming. My wife and I always look forward to our dates at Third Place.

Maria with Offline - I had the BLGT bagel sandwich — so good. Tried the donuts (mango + original 🤍) Third Place Chai was good, but I’d go coffee next time ☕ Added honey for a little sweetness 🍯 Bagel sandwiches are on point — definitely recommend. Tiktok: fitnglowvenom for video

Excellent latte, yogurt bowl with berries and granola, and breakfast sandwich made on Michael’s English muffins! Staff is always friendly too.

Cushy chairs, reliably good eats, and playful monthly drink specials make it an easy neighborhood spot where you’ll find locals hunkered down on laptops, catching up over smoothies, or simply savoring a warm muffin out on the patio. Add in eclectic art (yes, that’s a giant dino skeleton on the back wall) and vintage decor. Great staff, food, drinks, and other items for sale. Small parking lot a little past the store. Only open until noon.

Quite an eclectic spot. It feels like walking into 'Central Perk' from Friends in the 90s. (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing! ;) ) Great location right by Five Points. Wall is lined with tables and power supplies for folks to work remote. The music is at a comfortable level (not loud, thank you!) making it easy to work or have a conversation. I had a bagel and coffee and both were fine.
