In the area for a night. Got a Latte and Chocolate Croissant on a quiet Sunday morning. Both were wonderful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Sat down in the beautiful space to enjoy and read. Very peaceful. Thank you for a lovely start of the day!
A really charming little coffee shop in downtown Portland with a simple, no-frills menu and such an inviting atmosphere. While the menu is fairly basic, it’s done well—and honestly, the space itself is what makes this place special. The open layout and seating area make it an easy spot to linger, whether you’re catching up with a friend, reading, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a good cup of coffee. It feels welcoming, relaxed, and unpretentious—exactly the kind of place you want to hang out for a while rather than grab and go. Sometimes it’s not about having an overwhelming menu, but about creating a comfortable space that draws you in, and this coffee shop does exactly that. A lovely little spot to slow down and enjoy being in the heart of Portland. ☕✨
Great first visit to an amazing coffee spot. Had a cortado, it was the perfect balance of light roast coffee and expertly steamed milk. All the flavors were present throughout the drink. Way better than the Bard coffee I had later in the morning.
Recently stopped by while in town for a conferece. Stopped by both days and was generally impressed To my understanding this a local roaster that actually roasts in house and offers many options for beans if ypu like to grind your own beans and or brew at home. The first day I ordered a latte with one of their house made syrups. The valance was great, not too sweet or overpowering. However my latte was luke earm despite picking it up at the counter right after it was poured. I assumed this was related to the steaming process and brushed it off. I also purchased a cardamom bun and it was wonderful. On my second visit my latte was delicious again and the temp was ideal. The cardamom buns weren't available but the croissants are also delicious. The interior is decorated with intent and overall the environment is cery welcoming. I recommend if you're a coffee nerd.
Stopped in for a quick coffee after eating at a diner down the road — so glad I did! I tend to get good ole drip / pour-over coffee but wanted to try out a latte; Decided on a decaf vanilla latte with whole milk — whoa did this place deliver! Probably one of the best coffee joints in town as I have tried out 3-4 others during my stay here in Portland! Highly recommend making this place a part of your coffee lists to hit up! (Wish I came here on the first day to try out some drip as they roast their own beans)
