Crema's Take

Molly Tea crafts authentic Taiwanese teas with a light hand on the sugar, letting delicate florals and clean tea flavors shine through in drinks like their fragrant white champaca matcha and snowy peach oolong. The cozy spot feels like a genuine destination for tea lovers rather than just another boba shop, with knowledgeable staff who genuinely seem to care about guiding you toward their best sips.

I got the premium jasmine milk tea and it’s very floral, so if you are into super fragrant tea, this is for you. I’ve also tried the white champaca matcha and I liked this one a bit better, but the matcha isn’t super strong. I would go somewhere else for matcha. It’s also very busy both times I went, so be prepared to wait a bit.

Molly Tea offers refreshing Taiwanese drinks that aren’t overly sweet, which I really appreciate. The flavors taste clean and authentic, just like the teas from Taiwan. At $7.99 for one size, it does feel a bit pricey. I also wish the shop were bigger — there are only about four small tables, which makes it a little inconvenient if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. Overall, great taste, but the space and pricing could be better.

好喝!爱喝!This snowy peach oolong is so good. Super fragrant peach, clean tea taste, and not overly sweet at all. Smooth, refreshing. The front cashier super nice and attentive. They know what’s the best. Definitely will be back

I honestly don’t understand why there’s so much hostility toward a drink shop. Molly Tea makes great drinks, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been here. This time I ordered their new Tongmu Lapsang Bubble Tea (less ice, 50% sugar). The brown sugar boba was solid, but what really got me hooked was the hazelnut sauce and cocoa powder on top. Combined with the black tea base, the flavor was rich and well-balanced. Price-wise, I don’t find it expensive at all — it’s pretty much the average milk tea price in Atlanta. Other than slightly longer wait times during buy-one-get-one events, there’s usually little to no line now. I also noticed that many staff members are working at the same time, each doing their part to speed things up, which I really appreciate. I also saw that they’re now available on DoorDash, which means I can finally order milk tea at home without having to go to the store — a big plus! The service has always been great. I’ve been here about five or six times, and every visit I’ve felt how friendly and patient the staff are when explaining their drinks. Today I noticed they’re no longer wearing masks, so it was even nicer to see everyone’s smiles. They also frequently run promotions — I even got a free pin and keychain this time. Overall, Molly Tea offers good drinks, reasonable prices, and excellent service. That’s exactly why I choose to come back. Delicious. Love it. Will definitely return!

Came across this hidden gem, Molly Tea, during my trip. Ordered four drinks and every one of them was delicious. You can really taste the authentic Eastern tea flavors. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back again!
