Crema's Take

This Columbus favorite nails the coffee side of the equation, especially their cold brew and thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks like their honey lavender latte that lets the coffee shine through. The waffle sandwiches are the real draw here—crispy exteriors and creative fillings like The Baron with bacon or sausage—though quality can be inconsistent, so stick with what they do best rather than treating it as a casual quick grab. The vibe is genuinely family-friendly and welcoming, with staff who actually listen to what you're looking for and move with purpose during the morning rush.

Food overpriced and bland. I paid $11 for a Mini waffle and it was Crunchy on the outside, but doughy in the middle. 😖. I love their drinks But the food is trifling

This was our first time trying Winston’s for brunch, the food was delicious and fast, the cold brew was delicious as well.

Worth the hype! We had waffle sandwiches and hash browns. My latte was delicious with the honey and lavender not overpowering the coffee flavor. The waffles were too sweet for our savory ingredients so we deconstructed our sandwiches to eat the savory parts separately. Only a 6 minute drive from the botanical garden and in walking distance to Franklin park. The other shops in this rail station looked equally delicious.

03/03/24 - Last week I ordered from Winston’s Coffee & Waffles for the first time. I ordered The Baron with Bacon and, I also ordered The Baron with Sausage. Both sandwiches had cheese. They were good, but recommend syrup or other breakfast sauce. This breakfast restaurant is take out only. You may call in your order or order online. I also ordered their Drip Coffee (regular size) and it was delicious. Parking lot in the rear or free street parking also walking distance to the restaurant. Decent prices.

I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast. Stopped by with a friend for a mid-morning coffee and quick bite. The staff members were fast and friendly, and they helped with recommendations. I got a baron style sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese) with buffalo mayo - it was delicious! The buffalo Mayo was flavorful and not very spicy, and the waffles were crispy on the outside yet soft inside. I was really impressed with how well the sandwich held together; it wasn’t messy at all like a lot of breakfast sandwiches tend to be. The regular cold brew with toasted marshmallow didn’t taste like toasted marshmallow, so I’d probably order extra of that flavor next time. Overall, a great way to start off my day!
