Crema's Take

This curated spice and coffee destination in Grand Junction is a treasure trove for anyone serious about flavor, offering an uncommonly deep selection of whole bean coffees, loose teas, and specialty spices that go far beyond what you'd find elsewhere. The new location has become a genuine gathering spot where you can linger over a carefully made cup of matcha or specialty drink while browsing vanilla beans, rare paprikas, and artisanal salts—the kind of place that feels equally at home for your daily ritual or as a gift for the food lover in your life. What locals clearly adore is the genuine passion behind the curation and the welcoming slowness of it all, where quality and discovery matter more than quick transactions.

What a local gem! Extremely unique selection of whole bean coffee, teas and spices. Great for daily use or an excellent gift for your friends and family. There was fresh sourdough loaves by the register from a local baker- the Lucious Loaf, and I could not resist the beautifully rustic bread. Great price and had Incredible texture, moderate sour notes- highly recommend. Must stop- right by the post office!

I really love this store and was so glad to find it. I have been shopping here for a few years. Since they were in Lowell Building. But I feel the new location has brought on other issues that may be related to the area. I understand this may be a high crime area and that may be why this happened to me. But I still feel like it was misguided and rude. I entered the store and the lady was playing on her phone. She has glasses on, she uses her hand to slide them down to her nose. She looks me up and down. Then judged me before doing the following. I was at home and just needed spices for the meal I was cooking for dinner, so I was dressed down when I left the house. I had a long term condition in my hair and it was soaking. I guess that meant I looked like a thief and maybe homeless? Despite my nice car I rolled up in and I know she saw. Then the worker got up and started to walk within 1.5 feet of me around the entire store, the entire time I was there. I kept saying and inferring I wanted to browse and to back off. She would not let me at all. I finally just bought the few spices I needed for my meal waiting at home, not wanting to go to another store, or I may not have bought anything and left. I felt so anxious and uncomfortable and am certain I will not return. I have medical conditions and the way she acted didn’t help them. I may just order spices online from Denver from now on. P.S. I am not a thief, I am a local business owner and I am not broke, I never steal and really was offended by this behavior. I also am not easily offended and can say that this was so unusual and very demeaning as a customer.

Great store! A must shop location for any foodie or home chef. I got vanilla bean and quality coffee. Never knew there were so many types of paprika and salt.

Nice teas, coffee and spices! It's so nice to have a place in town to sit and drink some tea.
