Crema's Take

This espresso-focused roastery draws coffee enthusiasts with its thoughtful pour overs and traditional drink craftsmanship, paired with a spacious, outlet-friendly setting that invites lingering over breakfast burritos and house-made pastries. While the quality and vibe clearly resonate with regulars who appreciate a deliberate coffee experience, service consistency seems to be a point of variation worth considering before your visit. The neighborhood parking situation is a bit of a puzzle to solve, but nearby street spots can work in a pinch.

I used to come to this coffee shop alot but over the past year every time I come in the behind the counter staff is always in a horrible mood. They're always rude, annoyed, and judgy. Is it fine to be that way in the service industry? And it's been different people each time but the same vibe. I'm not sure who is hiring over there but I would consider a mood check. I've given it enough chances...going to avoid it now.

Another nice coffee shop in a very crowded market. Nice cookies and breads, but a little expensive. Parking can be a challenge in the parking lot. Best bet is to park on an accent street.

This was our first time visiting San Francisco, and I couldn’t resist trying out a cute coffee spot! I’m the type of girl who loves a ‘$9 coffee’ (though it wasn’t that much), and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Apple Crisp latte before my son’s soccer game and was so tempted to go back for another afterward! We also shared an avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich, and I really appreciated that they let us choose the type of bread. Such a great experience all around!

Stopped by for a quick fix of coffee! There isn’t that much parking, and the area is busy. There’s plenty of empty space and seating, with some table and chairs combos and some sofa chairs. Outlets are limited unless you sit directly next to the wall. I got a medium iced lavender haze. I was hoping for more of a lavender taste kind of like a london fog, but the drink didn’t have what I was looking for. It was still well made and not bitter. Soon, they’ll be transitioning to their fall specialty drinks, but their summer specials are creative and detailed.

I really enjoyed this shop, extremely friendly staff and good options for both food and drink. The coffee was decent and the classic breakfast burrito was tasty. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: Seating wasn't the most comfortable, and even though the menu says pour over is an option, they don't have it at this location. I'm curious to try the Virginia Highlands location, just wish this place was more cozy and had what was advertised.
