Crema's Take

Tucked in Winter Park's charming Center, this adorable bakery café earns serious praise for its inventive pastries like ube cheesecake cream puffs and Dubai chocolate cream puffs that manage to be indulgent without overwhelming your palate. Beyond the showcase pastries, they craft thoughtful specialty drinks and fruit teas in a genuinely cozy space with intimate booths that feels perfect for lingering conversations or solo moments. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where even a first-time visitor immediately feels the care in both the food and the atmosphere.

Light On The Sugar in the Center of Winter Park (next to LA Fitness) is absolutely spectacular! This was my first visit, and I was immediately impressed. The shop is adorable, with cozy little booth seating for two as well as open seating options. It feels welcoming and thoughtfully designed. The pastry display looked like something out of a beautiful catalog, perfectly arranged, colorful, and almost too pretty to eat. You’ll definitely want to take photos before that first bite (and even the pastry boxes are a whole vibe!). The staff was friendly and efficient, pricing felt very reasonable, and everything we tried was on point. The Vietnamese coffee was rich and smooth, and the almond croissant was flaky, buttery perfection. I’ll absolutely be visiting their other locations soon, and bringing friends with me. This is officially my new favorite spot!

Finally got to try Light on the Sugar and it lived up to the name. The ube crepe cake was light and creamy with great flavor, and the Dubai chocolate cream puff was rich without being overwhelming. Absolutely loved the cream inside! I don’t typically tolerate baked goods and because this wasn’t over the top, I was able to enjoy half of each! Everything tasted fresh and well made. The perfect treat when you want something sweet but not heavy. We will be back.

First time here and the Fruit Tea is really nice on a hot day not a cold one, lol came on a cold day. My dad and I shared the mango 🍑 mousse tart, was ok you can taste a bit of mango my throat was itchy, idk if it’s gelatin in the top or what. My dad liked his tea, very calm environment and beautiful establishment

A clean little bakery, and they have a spectacular little Ube Cheesecake Cream Puff pastry (it has a small piece of taro cheesecake on the top too but that wasn't as enjoyable). It does color your tongue purple though. Was there in line behind a couple that drove three hours just to visit and get pastries to bring back to their family that day! This one is in the strip mall so plenty of parking. Outside could use some cleanup, the trash was full.

First time walking into this bakery, didn’t know what to expect, today 1/8/26 11AM. Me and my friend decided to try it since we ate at the Five Guys across the parking lot. Well I’m so glad we walked in! Bought this stuffed crepe 🥞 and my friend got a croissant 🥐. This was the best thing I ate last year and this year! I have to go back to try some other things, it was delicious. Had strawberries 🍓 and chocolate 🍫 stuffed inside the crepe 🥞. Very modern look inside and many choices to choose from. The stool not gonna like was uncomfortable and so low to the ground. Only one associate (dark hair) greeted us and served us, the other one didn’t say anything as I thanked both of them when we left. But it’s alright we will be back though for sure.
