Crema's Take
“Copper Spike Cafe is primarily a convenience for Verde Canyon Railroad passengers who have a couple hours to kill before their scenic train ride, and the kitchen does respectable work keeping expectations modest—burgers and breakfast sandwiches that won't embarrass the ticket price. The real draw here is the captive audience setup, which paradoxically means the food is actually better than you'd expect from a place with nowhere else to go, though quality can be inconsistent. Visit only if you're already committed to the train experience and need to fuel up beforehand.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. Quick-grab spot. Light food on the menu.

Good food for the price. Better than you would expect for a captive audience restaurant.
Try to eat before you come to get on the train. The burger is very dry and cold. French fries were decent. Good for putting something in your stomach.
Breakfast sandwich
It's OK for putting something in your belly
