Popped in here for a quick bite mid-morning and was so happy to find this place. If you've never tried a Colombian empanada, you're missing out....they're gluten-free because the dough is 100% corn. I had two filled with beef and potatoes, so delicious with nice crispy edges. Also couldn't resist a guava pastry to satisfy my sweet tooth and it hit the spot. And isn't it always nice when someone is genuinely happy to serve you good food! I will stop here again next time I'm in the area.

The bandeja paisa was generous and perfectly balanced, the arepas were fresh and delicious, and the empanadas were crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside. The staff made sure everything was perfect and took the time to explain the menu with a smile. The food at American Bakery Restaurant in Davie is truly authentic Colombian comfort food — everything tastes homemade and full of flavor.you can feel the kindness from the moment you walk in. The place is cozy, clean, and full of good energy. Highly recommend it for breakfast or lunch with family and friends.

Stepping into this restaurant is an absolute delight; the ambiance is simply amazing, instantly beautiful the moment you walk through the doors. You're immediately greeted with an abundance of happiness and genuine cordiality, setting a wonderfully inviting tone for your visit. And the food? It's simply delicious! From an incredible selection of pastries and authentic Colombian treats that beckon from the display, to the lunch offerings which are nothing short of wonderful—fresh, homemade dishes that taste just like comfort. Adding to this fantastic experience, they even feature a live singer twice a month, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. This gem is open Monday to Saturday, making it a perfect spot for a delightful meal throughout the week.

Increíble customers service. We felt so welcomed and everything was explained to us so well. The decoration and set up of restaurant was perfect and beautiful. The music was at perfect volume not too loud, we were able to keep up a conversation without having to raise our voices. The whole place was super clean and smelled so good. The food was AMAZING!! The coffee also. Wish I could give this place a ten out of ten. Looking forward yo returning and becoming a regular when I am in town.
