Crema's Take

This Lexington breakfast and brunch spot has built a devoted following for thoughtful, generous portions that genuinely cater to different appetites—whether you're ordering their beloved eggs Benedict or indulgent pecan pancakes. The convivial atmosphere makes it equally suited for solo business travelers seeking refuge from chain cafes and groups of friends settling in for a leisurely weekend morning, though expect a wait even on weekday visits since locals clearly know what they're after. Beyond solid traditional coffee drinks and pastries, Cosi distinguishes itself as much through genuine hospitality and kitchen care as through any single signature item.

While in Lex for business in the A.M. I was looking for a breakfast apart from the usual and came across this place in goggle maps. Glad I went. I had the eggs Benedict & potatoes. Delicious! Awesome staff, made me feel very welcome and appreciated as a guest. Pleasant interior and clean. I'd drive the 30mins from home just to have breakfast here.

Decided to try this place out and was shocked that everything was good. From the service to the food and my friends and I had fun as well. Will definitely come back 🙂

One of the best breakfast restaurants I've had. They have the right amount of food for everyone, those that eat light and those that don't😉 i had the two and two and hubby the pancakes with pecans and a side of bacon. Coffee was a custom blend. Delicious. Not burnt tasting. Service was very friendly and attentive. A definite must when visiting Lexington. Great job guys!

My friends and I came here for brunch in December and we had a great experience! We came on a weekday so we expected it to not be too crowded, but it was definitely packed. It was a little bit before we were able to get seated, but it wasn’t a problem. They kept checking in with us to let us know the status of our table, and at the end of the day, that’s the best way to do it! I don’t care about waiting as long as I know that I wasn’t forgotten! Usually when places are busy, also, it means that they are popular for a reason!! Our server was very sweet and helpful with lots of great recommendations, help with adjusting to our dietary needs, and even letting us get creative with our drinks (I wanted a mimosa with cranberry and half orange juice, and she was very friendly about making that happen). My friends had the breakfast burrito and they were obsessed with it! I just had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! It was huge and a little hard to eat, but that’s not a bad thing!! the breakfast potatoes were also great! The quality of food for this price point is unbeatable! We also just loved the vibe of the place. It was decorated so uniquely with a combination of many different styles and decorations, but it all worked really well together. We were so interested in the decorations and spent a lot of time talking about them and admiring them! The space is pretty large and feels like a cozy little house on the inside. It was such a unique spot, and I definitely recommend it!

Food was good, but overpriced. Our waitress described the country ham as a think piece of ham on the bone, it was the thinnest breakfast ham I have ever seen.
