Crema's Take

Tucked inside a Sprouts grocery store, Press Coffee punches well above expectations with expertly crafted cortados and creative espresso shakers that locals rave about—think honey cinnamon and peanut butter variations that are sweet without being cloying. The baristas here are genuinely engaged and efficient, though their approach to customization can be a bit rigid if you're thinking outside their standard menu. If you catch them on a good day, you'll discover one of Scottsdale's most underrated specialty coffee spots, though consistency seems to be their ongoing challenge.

The barista here makes a great cortado. I wouldn't expect to get a good coffee inside of a grocery store but I was wrong. Coffee is delicious here.

Me: I'd like an iced coffee Barista: do you want a cold brew? Or Americano? Me: your drip coffee, poured over ice. Barista: those are the options Me: you can't pour drip coffee over ice? Barista: I'll have to charge you for the cup and ice. Me: I'm already paying for a cup in the price, either way. Barista: that's the policy. Me: cool, you can cancel it

Delicious coffee. I got the honey cinnamon espresso shaker and the peanut butter shaker. Both are amazing! Sweet but not too sweet and a very smooth flavor. The barista was also working very efficiently and was very kind and professional.

Dunno if I caught them on an off day but the cold brew was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Hard to describe. Closer to iced tea with lemon than coffee. Truly the strangest coffee I’ve ever been offered. I hope it was an anomaly.
