Crema's Take

This intimate coffee stand just off the interstate has won over visitors with owner-crafted drinks like the Mazapán cold brew and horchata latte that taste genuinely homemade, paired with pastries like banana bread baked fresh by the owner herself. The personal touch here really sets it apart—the barista-owner takes your order directly, remembers what matters, and brings a warmth to every interaction that keeps people coming back as their favorite in the area. It's the kind of hidden gem that feels less like a quick grab and more like discovering a friend's carefully curated coffee ritual.

Great coffee spot. We stopped on our way to San Diego and it was such a great find. I had the Mazapán cold brew and my fiancée had the horchata latte. Both were delicious. We also had to try the fresh baked goodies and they were so good. The stand is super cute and very clean. Great quality and great prices. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Found this lovely spot by accident and I'm glad I did. Delicious coffee and even better service. Try the banana bread, baked by the owner, it's amazing!!!

Both the coffee and service here are exceptional. At other places typically the barista does not take my order; the downside to that is that mistakes seem fairly frequent. Here the barista/owner takes my order and makes it just as discussed, always a perfect drink. This is my preferred stop when in need of coffee while in Encinitas.

We visited about eight different coffee shops in the area within the last week. Hands-down, this was by far our favorite. It had really great flavor, the coffee was nice and strong and homemade flavors were amazing. The ice lattes had a little foam on top which was refreshing and so good. They are across the Parking lot from In-N-Out. They have a great unique fun menu and some unique cold brew options that were really great!
