Crema's Take

Mecatos brings authentic Colombian coffee culture to Metrowest with meticulously sourced beans that earn consistent praise from espresso enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. Beyond the exceptional coffee, this is a genuine gathering place where fresh pastries, traditional Latin breakfast items like arepas and cachapas, and genuinely attentive service create the kind of unhurried, welcoming atmosphere that keeps families and friends coming back.

Mecatos Café has been amazing every single time I’ve been! Everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentically made, and the coffee is hands-down some of the best Colombian coffee you’ll ever have. The staff is always so welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This place truly hits all the foodie cravings. I can’t recommend it enough! ☕✨

Great service and coffee. Came with my father. I got a caramel frappe and an apple turnover while my dad got an espresso and a quesito. Very nice seating area an clean restrooms.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this location and I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. Who would eat this? I order to go and when I got home this is what I encounter. Mind you, I live 5 minutes away from this place for this arepa to look so greasy. And on top of that it was burned. The girls serving the customers were really sweet. That is the only good thing.

My husband and I had the Colombian hot dog & the arepa and although it took a while to come out, Sylvia was super sweet and attentive that she blessed us with some empanadas while we waited. She was a wonderful host and her recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed our food, the atmosphere and the service. Thank Sylvia for your generosity.

First time here while visiting a nearby Physician. Nice welcome by Krhistiemily advising me on the menu and coffee. Good espresso coffee (add extra shots because it’s Americano style). The Cachapa was huge and delicious; could not finish it and brought it home! Clean and airy ambiance. These young ladies make you feel welcome. Thanks!
