Crema's Take

Tucked near the mountains off Washington Boulevard, this independent spot pulls in loyal crowds for breakfast done right—think perfectly cooked Denver omelets, homemade biscuits, and crispy hash browns that justify the wait. The staff moves with genuine attentiveness, keeping coffee cups full and checking in frequently, creating a lively neighborhood atmosphere that feels both efficient and genuinely welcoming to regulars and newcomers alike.

Millie's is a great spot off washington blvd up in Pasadena near the local mountains. They serve a wide variety of breakfast and the service is quick and they check up on you frequently if you need anything. I was torn between buckwheat pancake and lemon ricotta pancake and went with the latter since another place was out of them. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Try them out!! Always a full house in the mornings!! 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars for excellent food and service!!

If you don’t want to wait then join the virtual waitlist but if you do have to wait it’s worth it . The staff is all business when it comes to refills and service . Their meats are good . Their chorizo is amazing and not greasy . Waffles were fluffy and light. Omelets leave you so stuffed . We enjoyed all their fun drinks .

My husband and I feel lucky to have found this restaurant through Happy Cow! We were looking for a breakfast spot that was open after an early doctor’s appointment. When we arrived at around 10am and it was very busy for a Friday (we were there on Friday 2/13) but we were seated right away. It seemed that every employee was taking care of us which felt really great! We had coffee brought to us almost immediately with soy milk as requested! During our meal we were offered refills of coffee at exactly the right time! We both ordered off the much appreciated separate vegan menu. I got the Eleanor R Special and added smoked apple sage sausage and got the plant based eggs. SO GOOD! My husband got the Usual Breakfast combo with buckwheat pancakes, tofu scramble and tempeh bacon. He absolutely LOVED it. Both were savory, sweet, and very filling! We will ABSOLUTELY be back to enjoy all the other vegan offerings! Thank you to the entire staff for making us feel welcome and well taken care of!

I had the Denver Omelet which was prepared perfectly, egg was not burnt, nice and soft, good amount of ham. Biscuit was homemade and excellent, hash browns nice and crispy. The bagel and lox platter was good could have used a little more lox to go with the bagel. Side of bacon very good flavor. Big menu with separate vegan menu. Service was excellent and great decor.

Came here yesterday with some girl friends and my kiddo around 11am. Almost didn’t come due to (some of) the Google reviews but very GLAD we did. The tables outside were all occupied so it looked busy and one of my friends who doesn’t like to wait kept checking Yelp for the wait time and it said 5min but when we got to the door we were immediately seated at a table inside. The menu had a lot of tasty choices and I ended up getting the corn beef benedict while the others got the chicken and waffles, machaca, and the chicken strips. I loved my benedict not only because it was delicious but because the poached eggs were actually done correctly! Props to the cooks for that because I’ve been ordering benedicts and the eggs are not oozing yolk. Although the machaca was a little under seasoned, it was still tasty as well as the other entrees. I got the pistachio matcha latte and that was tasty (I don’t advise getting it with coconut milk, however). Prices are high but that’s unfortunately the way it is anywhere but the portions are pretty generous contrary to another review and delicious so it’s at least a good value. Looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Service was also friendly and prompt. If you’re on the fence, give Millie’s a try.
