Park Service Coffee

Crema's Take
“Park Service Coffee is a bright, modern spot where serious pour-over and espresso craftsmanship meets genuine warmth—they're not afraid to source single-origins like that Kenyan from Little Waves and execute them beautifully. Beyond the excellent coffee, they've built something special with thoughtful pastries (including vegan options) and a cozy, unhurried atmosphere that feels made for lingering conversations, even when the line gets long. It's the kind of place locals return to again and again, and visitors instinctively want to come back when they're in Columbus.”

Park Service has become my favorite coffee spot when visiting Columbus. This morning, I had a Kenyan washed process single-origin espresso roasted by Little Waves in Durham, NC. They nailed it.
I've tried mainly their chai tea latte, pastries, and food. I love the food options they have. It keeps things interesting. Their chai tea tastes like battery acid to me a bit which is a major bummer considering it's my go to. It's too bitter for my taste. The service and the atmosphere don't entirely make up for it but are very great for a quick date, meet, or solo trip out.
I recently visited Park Service Café after hearing a lot of buzz about their drinks and cozy atmosphere. The café itself is charming — bright, clean, and modern with a relaxed vibe that makes it a nice place to catch up with friends or get some work done. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and my order came out quickly, which I really appreciated. I decided to try the Rose Vanilla Latte, since it sounded unique and beautifully presented on their menu. While it looked nice and had a pleasant aroma, the flavor didn’t quite live up to expectations. The rose and vanilla notes were very subtle, almost too faint to distinguish, and the overall taste leaned a bit flat. I was hoping for a richer espresso base and a more balanced floral sweetness, but instead it felt a little watered down and lacked the depth I was expecting. That said, I could see the potential — maybe it just wasn’t the best choice for my personal taste. I’d still come back to try other drinks or pastries since the ambiance and service were great. With some tweaks to the flavor balance, that latte could easily become a standout item.
They know specialty coffee! Pour over game is strong and quality drip coffee and espresso bar. Baked goods are tasty (and vegan). Can get busy and a little slow, but that's to be expected for quality. Love the vibe in the shop...cool 2nd floor seating.
Visiting Columbus for Thanksgiving and we always stop at Pizzuti Museum of Art and we found this love coffee and vegan shop. Charming and warm and very friendly people. Show them some love. ❤️
