Crema's Take
“The Thirsty Armadillo refuses to burn or over-process their beans, which means you're getting genuinely excellent coffee in a sea of mediocre chains—something locals have noticed, with self-described coffee snobs raving about the balance and quality. Beyond the core espresso, their creative signature drinks like the banana nut latte mocha and Texas pecan cold brew show real skill, while an impressive sugar-free lineup means there's something interesting here regardless of your preferences. Friendly staff, no wait times, and a cute setup with outdoor seating make it an easy place to linger over breakfast, whether you're passing through on a road trip or looking for your new regular spot.”
What to expect
Cold brew standout, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and pastries on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

Coffee was delicious! I got the Upside Down Iced Vanilla Latte and was impressed by the flavor. It was the perfect balance of sweet and coffee. The service was wonderful as well. We were greeted with smiles.
Was pleasantly surprised at the large variety of sugar-free coffees they offer. I got the Texas pecan and it was delicious. I Will definitely be back. Staff was friendly and no wait time. Such a cute shop.
Y'all I'm a coffee SNOB and this is the best coffee in the area. I so appreciate that you’re the only local coffee shop that doesn’t burn or over process your beans and balances your water to espresso ratio for a perfect shot of caffeine with no dankness, bitter after taste, or…
Cute and unique little coffee shop with an extensive menu. The chai latte was tasty and not overloaded with ice like a lot of coffee shops will do. They also offered to remake it if anything was wrong, but no need, it was exactly what I needed for a long road trip!
