Lit Brews

I visited Lit Brews and immediately fell in love. It’s by far the most welcoming coffee shop, and it gives the best vibes. Whether you are working, reading, hanging out with friends, or just grabbing a coffee alone this is the place for you. They have so many drink options, all the staff is amazing and quite frankly it is a one of a kind experience!

Okay this place is awesome. If you like books and coffee/tea, come here. What I love about it: the coffee is delicious! I got an orange spice and cinnamon latte, and I asked for half sweet but Lizzy said they don’t pump tons of syrup into their coffees so guess what? It was the perfect latte, no “half sweet” order needed (it actually tastes like a latte with a perfect balance of flavor.) Try it! ALSO very obsessed with the “Blind Date With a Book” corner!! If you don’t know what you wanna read, roll your d20 and take a risk on a blind date book! You will find yourself branching out and enjoying a book you may have never picked up if you saw the cover first 😜 LASTLY if you have any new or used books collecting dust on your shelves, BRING THEM HERE. Lizzy says they’ll take donations. So if you wanna help out a local business and see these shelves full, bring your books 📕🩵 I’ll be back, Lit Brews! Your coffee is amazing and your book vibes are just 👌✨perfect!! Lubbock’s needed a fun, nerdy cafe like this one for a long, long time. So excited to bring my friends next time!! ☺️

Love this little coffee and book shop. We were greeted so warmly. It’s truly an inviting space all around. They only had one hot size of coffee (which I believe is a 16 oz). We would prefer a larger hot coffee size and that’s truly the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. We ordered two different drinks and both of them were delicious! Would definitely come here again when in the area. Just wish they had a larger size coffee.

The owner Lizzy is the sweetest woman ever! She has a wonderful establishment and I cannot wait for what she will have in store for all of us book lovers! I recommend trying the city of starlight, even if you aren’t the biggest fan of peppermint mocha. I don’t normally go for it, however, she makes it so well and is now a new favorite!!!

Grand opening day! I walked into the cozy atmosphere of books, coffee and live music. Staff was very friendly and there so many great option to chose from! I got the Lightning and Shadow Brew (warm) and my husband got the Gandalfs Oasis Mocha (warm). We both enjoyed it! I can’t wait to come back again 😊
