The Local Cup

This is the type of place I think of when I think “Seattle style coffee.” The first thing that greeted me was The lovely local live music that was playing. Afterwards, I got to meet the lovely Salem who proceeded to make an excellent recommendation of “sweet Sunday” which I paired quite well with a strawberry squirrel pastry! This is a place that it feels like it should be raining outside, it’s so cozy with it industrial look. The wonderful “pay it forward“ system something I’ve come to know as a neighbor’s account, allows you to do just a little bit of good while getting a little bit of caffeine. The place is happy and welcoming and warm with its neutral tones, Green walls, and feels like a little trip to Seattle. The conversation is flowing, and of course, the lovely Salem was doodling. I loved her style! The celebration of LGBTQ, people of color, and women enhanced the all our welcome vibe a little bit more. Thank goodness this place is so close to where I work, I will definitely be back during the day.

Coffee for a cause! Stop by and support if you can, this is a donation-based café that provides good service to the community and neighborhood. A very nice place to sit and relax to enjoy a morning cup of joe ☕️

Amazon concept and great product it's sad to see the few people who take such advantage of this place and yet they don't allow it to change there attitude or the way they work. By far though it is an amazing addition to the neighborhood and any place would be lucky to have something like this in there town. (To those of you who take advantage, shame on you. To the rest of us, please give when you can and accept when In need. This place can only continue to work if people do there part also.)

Great neighborhood cafe! I love their pay it forward concept! You can be there hours talking to people. Its family friendly, with side room in which children can play and one can can have conversation with other neighbors.
