The Spot Downtown
223 Tamberline St, Flowood, MS
Crema's Take
“This Flowood gem operates as a meaningful community project of the Rankin County School District, blending excellent coffee with a welcoming atmosphere that draws in lunch crowds, students, and families alike. The space strikes that perfect balance between a focused specialty coffee destination and a genuinely friendly gathering spot where you can linger with your laptop or catch up with friends over a wonderfully crafted cup. It's the kind of place where the coffee matters, but what really sets it apart is how genuinely warm and connected the whole operation feels.”

Loved the spot at lunch today!! Did Christmas shopping!
Wonderful coffee shop & concept!! Met several students & staff….so friendly 🙏
This is a wonderful business that’s actually a project of the local school district (Rankin County School District). It was created and operates as primarily a coffee shop, but they serve other items such as loaded teas, drinks, danishes, etc. The business is operated by special needs students within the district, to provide teaching and business experience. It’s located in Downtown Brandon, in a house/building built in 1939, and has plenty of parking. It’s only open limited hours, typically until 2pm on weekdays, but that’s because it’s operated by students. It’s a great place to get coffee and help a future generation.
