I got the grilled Monte Cristo, which was okay. However, I ordered corned beef hash on the side. It’s not corned beef hash, just cubed ham and green pepper sautéed together. It’s supposed to be chopped ham, diced onion, and diced potatoes. The Monte Cristo also comes with “potatoes” be sure to read the description, it’s not potatoes, it’s tater tots probably frozen from Sysco or a choice of hash browns. Attached is an image of their corned beef hash, and what it’s supposed to be. I would understand if the menu said it was their “version” but it had no description.
A friend recommended Morning Edition for breakfast during our weekend visit in town from Seattle and this place definitely did not disappoint. Denise was very attentive and extremely nice. Their avocado toast, steak bowl, and especially their cocktails hit the spot. We have other friends coming to visit and we’re taking them for mimosas and brunch tomorrow. 5 out of 5 stars for sure.
My husband and I are coming up on 6 years as regulars at ME. We really enjoy starting our weekend there with a good breakfast! We actually go there for breakfast/brunch more often than we go out for dinner. It’s one of those places where you really get it all: amazing, high-quality food, a cozy atmosphere, great service, and it’s never too loud, so you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. My go-to is their homemade biscuits, tater tots, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Over the years, we’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu, and you honestly can’t go wrong.
This place is super cute! Has a nice variety of foods on their menu, and the service was great! Took my boy there for a breakfast date and even though it was busy, we got our food quickly! Will definitely be back!
Five stars. Perfect experience. I had the chicken focaccia and the coffee cake french toast and both were amazing. The focaccia was fresh, the chicken was tender, and the whole plate had great flavor. The coffee cake french toast was the highlight. The service was friendly and the place has a really nice atmosphere.
