Yardsale Cafe

Crema's Take
“Yardsale Cafe is a Park Slope gem that feels like wandering through a nostalgic yard sale, with walls lined with quirky memorabilia and vintage treasures that are actually for sale, creating an unpretentious and wonderfully laid-back atmosphere. The real draw here is their exceptional bakery program—reviewers are genuinely obsessed with the babka and pastries, with folks making special trips just for these treats—paired with solid, traditional coffee and a genuinely sweet staff that makes the cozy space feel like a neighborhood living room. It's the kind of place where you linger over a perfectly heated cookie and good conversation, whether you're catching up with friends or settling in after a morning run.”

Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me. 5 stars!!!!
got the babka and it hit perfectly after 10 miles into my long run. cute, laid-back space with solid coffee. small but cozy, and staff were super sweet. would return to try the sandwiches and more pastries. a nice break from the busier cafés nearby.
After reading Google reviews with high ratings, I left home early and stopped by before going to work. It was around 7:30 shortly after the store opened, and I was impressed that all the products were lined up in the showcase. The calm and pleasant staff made a wonderful start to my day. Thank you. The ham and cheese croissant had a crispy skin and was filled with plenty of ham and cheese. The cheesecake was smooth and very delicious. Cinnamon Babka matches the sweetness of cinnamon and is perfect for coffee.
CASUAL CAFE WITH INCREDIBLE FOOD 🥮 Yardsale Cafe feels exactly like how it sounds when you step inside. Unpretentious vibe made up of literal yard sale memorabilia on the walls that are for sale. The owner takes pride in what he bakes. The babka is well-known and delicious. So are the cookies. But what really hits it out of the park 🏌️♂️ is the ham and cheese croissant 🥐 It’s not the typical kind at other places that feel hollow and leaving you craving for more. No. These Ham and cheese croissants are densely packed with aged cheese … it’s a meal that taps you out. Pairs well with cold brew. The space is very small with a tiny 🪟 window seat inside and additional seating outside for that “back patio” feel. Super chill vibe here. Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Definitely makes you feel like you're at a Yard sale back in the early 2000's when you walk in. Selling anywhere between hats, T-shirts, happy meal toys & collection cards. The cookie has to be heated when eaten. Nutella Babka is very chocolatey and moist. Only has one table by the window. Friendly service
