Birdhouse Cafe

I am so impressed! I stopped for lunch after work today, and I left with a new favorite lunch spot. I got the Morning Pesto toast and a Be Buzzed cold brew coffee. I highly recommend both! The staff is warm and accommodating. The food was quick and bursting with flavor. The open kitchen is a nice touch. The spinach they used was incredibly fresh. I have zero complaints. 10/10 first-time experience, and I will be back!

First time trying the Birdhouse cafe out. Everyone was really nice. While watching them prepare the dishes you can see everything is super fresh and healthy. Enjoyed my lunch and I'll be back to try other things on the menu.

The food was delicious!!!! That’s not the problem with my review. The chef who took our order was AMAZING, she was so sweet and understanding. Sadly, the cafe has very limited handicap seats available, we struggled to find a place for a minute or two with the staff looking at us and not helping, until we were finally sat next to the owner and what seemed to be her friend, conducting business. So sadly, the whole lunch we were stuck listening to 2 people ramble on 😐 and they were being extremely judgy of the chef when she sat down with her lunch to eat a salad, pretty much saying her salad wasn’t healthy enough, and wouldn’t get her in the healthy spectrum of the app they were using…. I will say the place is very cute, comfortable and nicely decorated. The open kitchen plan make it seem like you’re waiting in your friends kitchen, and the food tasted very fresh. When we were done eating, the chef had disappeared and we were waiting to pay. Katie, owner had walked past us several times even though she say us waiting by the register. Another customer came in, even said she was in a rush and needed 2 smoothies, Katie said no problem and got started for 2 minutes before stopping again to talk to her friend/business associate. The poor customer had her kid waiting in the car and seemed very annoyed. Would be a better review if we felt like we were at an actual business, not a get together.

What a gem of a place! The owner and her staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Katie’s menu is so wonderful, healthy and what we ordered was delicious. He ordered a Hotty Toddy smoothie and I got The Crooked Rabbit salad, which was fresh and the dressing was made to order. She has an open kitchen concept and the decor is happy and comfortable.

This was such a rare find! Such an adorable and yummy place too. The food was delish and all organic. The açaí bowl, the pesto avocado toast, turkey pesto spinach sandwich, tomato basil soup. All excellent! Highly recommend !
