Donut Villa - Arlington
319 Broadway, Arlington, MA
Crema's Take
“This retro-charm brunch spot excels at accommodating group gatherings with genuine flexibility around dietary restrictions, making it a reliably welcoming spot for celebrations. Beyond their justifiably famous donuts, their creative specialty drinks like their mimosas pair perfectly with a full breakfast menu that delivers both consistency and care, backed by staff that actually seems to enjoy what they're doing.”

Donut Villa hosted our 18-person Galentines brunch. They were super accommodating of the various food restrictions in the large group (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The food itself comes in big portions and is well-priced. The menu is huge with a lot of fun & unique items like the Boston cream pancakes or the donut cheeseburger. Everyone who works here was super friendly and nice. Wish we could give more than 5 stars!
Breakfast was tasty and filling, and while I haven’t yet bitten into my donut (it looks amazing), my husband can vouch for the mimosas—he enjoyed his so much while we waited for our food. 🍹 One thing to note: the shop is dog-friendly. Small and medium pups are allowed inside, while larger dogs are welcome outside (as long as they’re friendly). Our dog is great with people, but some of the others outside were a bit noisy, so we decided to take our order to-go. We found a quiet little park about a mile away, which made for the perfect spot to enjoy our meal. 🌳🐾 All in all, this is a solid choice if you’re craving a good breakfast paired with a quality drink. The vibe is casual, the mimosas are worth the stop, and the donuts definitely look like they’ll deliver. We’d recommend checking them out! 🍩✨
I've heard about Donut Villa from Friends & Family over the years, but had never tried it for myself. I decided to try the Arlington location and it did not disappoint! Fun, retro atmosphere, delicious breakfast & lunch dishes, friendly staff, and big, fresh DONUTS!!!!! I was not daring enough to try, but they make donut breakfast sandwiches! This location has a cool bar area that I'll have to try next time. I've even been back for a to-go donut, they were that good!
Loved this place so much and I’m a brunch fan. Willl definitely be coming back here to try other things. Server was super kind , happy and great vibes. Food was fast, warm, fresh and yummy . Also coffee was perfect , not too dark but not light either. Check them out !
I've eaten here many times now and have had donuts a few times.I'm updating this review. The last two times we've been here, it's been empty, but the service has been horrible. This time, they served my husband moldy toast. The owners who were once very present are no longer around. The staff jokes around with each other while ignoring customers. I'm very disappointed with the way this restaurant has devolved. The first time I came here, I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict with a side of avocado. The sauce was flavorful, the eggs were poached just right, and the home fries were good (I always order them extra well done). The hash had a strange taste. They offer a flight of Mimosas, and you choose your flavors (mango, passion fruit, dragonfruit, blackberry, strawberry, etc.). The flavoring in the Mimosas is mostly just really sweet. The donuts have been a disappointment. They are too heavy for me.
