Union Family Restaurant
1747 Union Rd, West Seneca, NY
Crema's Take
“This classic West Seneca diner has been quietly serving the community for over 25 years with the kind of no-frills charm that keeps regulars coming back for standout breakfast dishes like Hash N Holly and grilled pita. The worn, genuine greasy spoon atmosphere and attentive service create the perfect setting for a leisurely morning meal or a casual meetup, where hearty portions and well-seasoned comfort food deliver genuine value. Fair warning: bring cash and don't let the weathered exterior fool you—this place is the real deal.”

The food exceeded my expectations, I got the fried bolgnoa and curly fries. Great atmosphere too it's an old school greasy spoon diner type of restaurant
It was my first time here. For a Saturday 8am this place was a ghost town. Now I know why. Food and service were just ok, nothing special. Although the waitress was very attentive about topping off our coffee. This is a cash only establishment and I appreciate that it was on the door as I do not carry cash.
Definitely stop here for a meal.Loved the seasoning of everything. The price was good, definitely filled me up. The restaurant is clean and organized. Sarah my waitress was chill and respectful, easy to get along with.
Best kept secret for breakfast! Hash N Holly is my current favorite. Make sure you get the grilled pita...so good. And bring cash!
This restaurant has been around for at least 25 years that I know of and today was my very first visit. It does look closed as the main sign was destroyed by weather and not repaired. It is indeed open for business! Unfortunately, a sign on the door says it’s cash only. There is an ATM on premise. It’s one way they keep their food prices very reasonable. It’s got that old dingy greasy spoon diner type of feel. One where they put their best effort into their cooking than their appearance. I ordered the “Cowboy Burger” with cream of potato soup as a side. All I can say is WOW! The soup was homemade and really good. Every aspect of the burger was nice and fresh. Yes, the grounds outside and inside could use some TLC… but this mom and pop place has managed to survive the pandemic. If they continue with their awesome food and maybe fix the sign so people besides the regulars know that they are open, I’m sure their business will thrive well into the future. I’ll definitely be back to try another dish soon.
