Kiser Country Mercantile & Coffee Shop

We live in Southmont but my husband and I drive all the way to Welcome for their Lattes. Im talking heaven in a 24oz cup. It is such a cozy place to shop while you have your coffee and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We have talked to several of the vendors there too and they are great people. I love to shop local and I love a good latte so Kiser is the perfect place. Yes, there are numerous other places between our home and Kiser to get coffee but we will continue to make the drive for the perfect cup of "Christmas tree cake" coffee. They even sell it in little jugs so you can take it home. We bought 2 so we can enjoy it over the holiday break while they are closed. Man, we love this place. Go, check it out...your taste buds will thank you.

Kiser Country Mercantile & Coffee Shop is an absolute Christmas-time must. I stopped in today and ordered their Christmas Tree Cake latte, and let me just say… chef’s kiss. It tastes exactly like the nostalgic Little Debbie treat we all grew up with — creamy, sweet, festive, and perfectly balanced without being overpowering. It honestly felt like drinking Christmas in a cup. The whole place has such a cozy, small-town charm. From the moment you walk up the porch steps, you can feel the warmth. Inside, it’s filled with the cutest home goods, handmade items, and gifts from local vendors — all of it beautifully displayed and so fun to browse while you wait for your drink. You can tell they truly care about supporting local creators and creating a welcoming space for the community. The staff was friendly, patient, and really made the experience even better. My drink came out quickly and looked just as good as it tasted — the red drizzle on top was the perfect festive touch. If you’re looking for a place that delivers amazing drinks, holiday vibes, and a down-home atmosphere, Kiser Country is where you need to go. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their Christmas menu, but the Christmas Tree Cake latte alone is worth the drive. 🎄❤️ Highly, highly recommend!

Closed on Sunday and Monday, but open on Saturday 9am-4pm. Also 7am-6pm other days. This coffee shop is such a wonderful hidden nugget in Welcome, North Carolina. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it, but definitely worth turning around. The combination of wonderful coffees options, delicious bakery goods, and very cute knickknacks to purchase, this shop offers true southern charm. A must stop in!

Great place for all kinds of goodies and great Lattes. This is truly a gem in Welcome and the owner is fantastic. I went off menu and got a sugar free white chocolate, caramel, vanilla latte, which I call snow cream. It is absolutely amazing. Also, picked up a fresh load of sourdough bread and some flavored pretzels. No other coffee/mercantile around like it.

I missed the cut off for the Yelp Elite opportunity but wanted to still come by and see what this place was about. I MAY have been slightly motivated by the coffee they sell. 😎 Either way, I wasn’t expecting all that I saw here! This is so much more than a coffee shop. When you walk in, your eyes and nose are filled with beautiful sensations. The smell of coffee, yes. But also the smell of CHRISTMAS! This place is filled with beautiful, high quality items for sale. This is a Christian focused establishment, which is right up my alley! I absolutely loved all of the gorgeous wooden, antiques signs with scripture and encouraging messages on them. I did purchase a Christmas switch mat which was only $8.99. I also purchased their Hawaiian Candy Cane hot latte. SO delicious! It took me back to a Hawaiin trip I took in January. 🌺 🤙🏼 I absolutely love this establishment and highly recommend it for coffee lovers, Christmas shoppers and bakers alike.
