Crema's Take
“Bell's Cafe in Old Seward is a charming community gathering spot where locals linger over hot chocolate and specialty drinks while surrounded by fresh flowers and quirky garden finds. This wonderfully hospitable place blurs the lines between cafe and garden shop, creating an unexpectedly warm atmosphere where staff treat visitors like old friends and even help with meaningful projects like memorial garden arrangements. It's the kind of neighborhood treasure where you might pop in for a steamer in winter and find yourself staying to soak in the genuine kindness that defines the place.”

I went to Bella nursery to pick up a Christmas tree. I had no idea it would be this much fun! This wonderful older gentleman treated me like a best bud and it was truly amazing. If you know who I am talking about, please give this dude some appreciation, he truly made my day.
🎄 Bell's Nursery is our go-to for Christmas trees! Their Noble Firs are incredibly fresh, fragrant, and have strong branches that hold all our heavy ornaments perfectly. The staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable, making the annual tradition of picking out our perfect tree a delightful, festive experience. They truly bring the holiday spirit to life!
A delightful spot with local grown produce, quarky garden figures and a lovely time. This halibut plate is goated. Some stuff would be cheaper off Amazon but it seems like a great spot to support.
Wanted to buy flowers for a memorial garden with just a plaque I ordered online. The staff helped me arrange a beautiful mixture of flowers in a large pot I picked then even extended the plaques stick for free by two feet so it was the correct height to fit the arrangement. They went above and beyond helping me.
I actually enjoy going for hot chocolate or steamers in the winter nearly as much as for flowers in spring. Updated in 2024: Thank you to Bell's for a wonderful Saturday market in December! With it just down the street we've enjoyed going there each week to have a fun break. The Christmas trees smell so wonderful, it's bright and fun to walk around them while people are busy buying, and the poinsettias in rows are so lovely. There are stalls set up to sell the typical local market items, and there is live music. We've loved getting drinks and sitting there in the cafe area, enjoying the large nativity, relaxing and feeling the spirit of Christmas!
