Mojo Coffee House
1500 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA
Crema's Take
“Mojo Coffee House in the Garden District is an espresso-focused spot that surprises visitors with unexpectedly creative drinks—like their viral coffee-lemonade hybrid—alongside meticulously crafted traditional pours and pastries that locals swear are made in-house. The open, airy space feels deceptively larger than it appears from the street, with abundant seating and a dedicated work wall that draws laptop regulars without ever feeling rushed or pretentious. What keeps people coming back is the combination of genuinely skilled coffee, warm service, and that rare quality of a neighborhood spot that feels both welcoming and intentional.”

Mojo is great. Delicious coffee, cool atmosphere, and great service. Plenty of seating too. Honestly, what more can you ask for from a coffee shop?
Awesome coffee shop! Very good coffee, pastries exceeded my expectations and I think they make them in-house. Cool space, just great. Nicest people.
What a lovely space. Decided to stop off here as our first stop in the Garden District. This space is very misleading from the outside. So many seating options and lots of drinks to choose from for your morning pick-me-up. It felt blasphemous, but I actually went with a tea instead of my morning coffee, despite going to a coffeehouse. That being said, the tea was delightful, so I can only imagine how good their coffee must be.
I thought my wife had lost her mind when she rolled up with a coffee version of an Arnold Palmer - half lemonade, half coffee. Yuck. Then I tasted it, and I was like 👀 let’s go get you one because I’m not giving this back. The flavor combination sounds weird, but it’s a delightful way to enjoy a midday cup of coffee in the sun and humidity. The vibes inside were just as nice. Clean spot, quick and super kind barista, and the bathroom is like a mini hidden museum. I spent longer just soaking up the walls than I did going to the bathroom. This place was cool. We’ll be back next time we’re at Surrey’s up the street.
Solid place! Staff were cordial, and my cortado was good. I love how open and airy it feels, and I could definitely see myself studying/working here (there’s an awesome wall with plenty of desk space/outlets). My burrito got the job done, and the hot sauce provided definitely elevated it quite a bit. Would certainly recommend this place for anyone looking for a calm place to read, study, or work.
