Arabica
8 Prince St, New York, NY
Crema's Take
“Arabica draws a loyal crowd with its thoughtfully crafted signature drinks like the Kyoto latte and Spanish latte, where baristas take genuine care with each order even during the rush. The space strikes that rare balance of being a calm refuge in a bustling neighborhood while still buzzing with the right energy for lingering over coffee and pastries like their standout pain au chocolat and cardamom buns. It's the kind of place where you'll overhear regulars greeting the kind staff by name, making it feel less like a transaction and more like stepping into a neighborhood gathering spot.”

Had some extra coffee time this morning and had walked by this Arabica quite a few times over the past year. Ordered a Kyoto latte, never heard of it so wanted to see what it was. The barista was very friendly and made the coffee quickly and it is really good. I didn’t order food but their pastries look amazing (I did not ask if they had any GF).
I just stopped in here a little while ago after hearing good things about it I had to try it for myself!!. I have to say they weren’t kidding!. I had the pain au chocolat which was awesome!. They even had the option to warm it up which I also really loved!!. Definitely coming back here more often!.
quite busy but service was still timely! we were lucky to have such a sweet lady take our orders during our visit. Lattes were good as we got our usual Kyoto and Spanish lattes. Lots of people hanging out so can be crowded but generally they dont linger excessively long it seems. We appreciate the gender neutral restrooms and that there is also a sink outside so if you only need to wash your hands you dont hold up the line.
The iced/hot matcha is great and the cardamom bun & everything bagel croissant is delicious! The barista (I forgot their name but it starts with a D) was so kind and even apologized and gave me a bounce back card for the long wait time! Truly love the ambiance of this location. I work down the block and will happily pop by many more times in the coming future!
Charming coffee shop in a high density area serving made to order coffees and light pastries. Calm, easy vibes decor with a back wall of goods for sale too. Only concerned the seating area might need a deep clean as the white fabrics have turned fairly grey now. Very busy shop with medium wait times. Friendly staff and upbeat attitudes.
