Crema's Take

I notice there's a mismatch in the information provided—the reviews are all about Black Lake Bible Camp (a retreat center), not a coffee shop called The Brim At Black Lake. Based on the tags mentioning traditional drinks and outdoor seating, if The Brim is a café at this location, it likely offers a peaceful lakeside setting perfect for a slow coffee experience with genuinely warm, community-oriented vibes. The convenient location near I-5 makes it an ideal spot to escape the highway hustle, grab a thoughtfully made coffee, and settle into the kind of place where people return again and again because it feels like home.

I LOVVVVEEEEEE BLBC!!!! I came as a camper for many years and I have worked as a cabin leader for 3 summers! This place is like my second home, I will always recommend Black Lake Bible Camp to everyone I meet. There’s lots to do, yummy food, a BEAUTIFUL lake, and a great atmosphere for growing closer to God! 10/10

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY!! It is so convievently located close to I-5/Olympia. It is a perfect location to feel secluded, but is no farther then a 10 minute drive off of the free way. The staff is accommodating, helpful, friendly, and yet they are respectful of privacy. The cabins located to the office were cozy and were like little homes. So cute... the heater in my cabin didn’t work, but I found a space heater in the closet. The food is honestly the best camp food...and I have worked at camps in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado... There weren’t a lot of choices at Black Lake, but at least it was tasty. The salad bar was AWESOME. Many fresh choices like blueberries, bacon, carrots, mushrooms, seeds, cucumbers, etc. I

Black Lake Bible Camp has had a profound impact on me, both as a camper and then later as a young adult who spent summers working by the lake. It's beautifully set, but more than that, is full of people who will care for your needs and help make sure your camping experience is great. What impresses me most about the place has been the consistency with which I have experienced it over the last 15 years.

We took our young people here for winter camp. They had a fantastic time. Great worship, great facilities and soda at meal times! It was really awesome.
