Pura Vida Miami

Crema's Take
“Pura Vida Miami brings a bright, casual energy to Costa Mesa with its open, airy interior that's perfect for lingering over breakfast or meeting friends. While their counter-service setup keeps things efficient even during busy Saturday rushes, the real draw is their thoughtfully crafted bowls and smoothies—generous portions that taste noticeably fresher and better than their Instagram-friendly presentation suggests. Fair warning: the music runs loud, and occasional order mishaps happen, but friendly staff and genuinely good food make it worth a visit if you're seeking that laid-back, feel-good vibe.”

Good food. Asked for a single shot latte, came out with double. We asked for hot milk to be added which they obliged. Service was helpful and attentive. The only drawback was the extra loud music playing. Husband and I couldn’t hear each other talk. Turn it down. Thanks.
Very disappointed with this place! I payed extra $5.95 for the chicken to be added to my salad. They did not even give me my chicken, so I basically paid more than $21 for the salad with no protein in it. I have been to Beverly Hills location, and it was great! 0/10
1. The bowl was huge, and it had a good portion of tuna! The smoothie was refreshing! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is very open! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready within 10 mins! Note: They will clean your table after you! Photo: Welcome to Miami and Spicy Tuna Bowl
Went with my daughter last Saturday. It was fairly busy, but the wait wasn’t too bad. Seating is first come, first served — we placed our order at the counter and then found a table, which was manageable even during peak time. The staff was efficient, and the drinks were actually pretty good. We tried one of their smoothies, and it was refreshing. As for the food, it was fine and healthy of course but didn’t really stand out or leave a strong impression. Overall, a solid casual spot — I’d come back for drinks and the atmosphere.
Pura Vida at South Coast Plaza surprised me in the best way. The food tastes way better than it looks, in that clean, healthy, feel good kind of way, and I honestly did not walk in expecting to love it. The chicken was a bit on the drier side, but for this style of meal, that’s kind of the point, high protein, light, and straightforward. The breakfast all day egg wrap though, absolutely delectable and genuinely memorable, the kind of thing you think about later and want again. The space sits right alongside the mall, bright and open, and it feels like a little taste of Florida landed in Costa Mesa. Service is solid, just know it’s counter service. The desserts look tempting, but a small note, they don’t warm up the cookies. More on social media: @ratedbymaryam
