Crema's Take

Procession strikes that rare balance between serious espresso craft and genuine warmth, with a polished-but-never-pretentious vibe that makes it equally perfect for a quick cortado or settling in for afternoon meetings. Their rotating single-origins and creative seasonal drinks like the rosemary maple latte show real playfulness with flavor, while their espresso fundamentals are precise enough to win over the coffee snobs—one reviewer made a three-hour drive just to return. The owner's attentiveness and the café's inviting atmosphere have clearly earned fierce loyalty from a community that keeps coming back.

On a three day trip to Denver, I visited Procession. I intended to try as many different coffee shops as possible during my trip, but couldn't resist going to Procession twice because the coffee was phenomenal. Pleasant atmosphere, knowledgeable & personable barista, great place to read or do remote work. Try the Blue Monday! Spiced cherry cordial pictured. I still dream about it.

I had to take a few meetings from here, Mid afternoon on a Tuesday. The owner greeted me and was extremely polite. The atmosphere is great the fears polished but not pretentious. Nice to see you some small businesses like this. The coffee was delicious. I’m not sure where they sourced their beans, but they were roasted and brewed well!

My favorite coffee shop!!! I make any excuse to make the drive up. My current obsession is the rosemary maple latte, one of the winter specials. Quite frankly, I was skeptical to order it, but it is one of the most delicious combinations I've tasted. I've tried a slew of their other offerings, and they're all incredibly well-made. I especially love how they incorporate herbs into their flavors! During my last visit, I ordered a vegan breakfast burrito. At $8, this was a solid to-go option and it was super tasty. There seems to be a theme of well-done, delicious offerings...and that's because they are truly dedicated to the craft. I can confidently say that you will witness this firsthand when you visit!

The americano was perfect! I am a snob, but the ratio of water to espresso and the type of espresso (nicaraguan) they had on rotation was delicious. The barista was kind and friendly, and the bar at the window was a nice place to work. It isn’t “comfy cozy” vibe, but for working or meeting with a friend it was great :) Love the windows and natural lighting. (pastry is from Lo Dough down the street)

Very clean inside. It’s pretty small but had enough seating to work remotely. The service was amazing. The place smells so nice which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend.
