Crema's Take

Spicy Cup leans hard into Mexican pastries and tamales in a relaxed, family-friendly space—and when it lands, the food is genuinely good. However, the 3.8 rating reflects real friction points: multiple customers report overcharging issues, language barriers when ordering, and inconsistent execution on baked goods (the tres leches cake gets mixed reviews). If you're after authentic empanadas and tamales at a fair price and can navigate the communication gaps, it's worth a shot; otherwise, spot-check your receipt and have your Spanish ready.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

The lady who charged me has been over charging me I've been here a few times and when I look at my bank statement it's different everything even though I get the same thing every time. So make sure you know your prices and use cash to be more secure.but the food is so delishes

Relaxing atmosphere with great lunch selections. Stop in and ask for their recommendations, you won't be disappointed! Egg+chorizo sandwich was great!
