Denali Pretzels
5000 W International Airport Rd, Anchorage, AK
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Ted Stevens Airport, Denali Pretzels offers a refreshing alternative to typical travel food chains, with friendly baristas like Conor who go the extra mile to make your visit memorable. While consistency can be a bit uneven with their specialty drinks, the straightforward coffee and fresh pastries hit the spot between flights, and the staff's genuine warmth—like offering to clean your travel mug—makes it feel more like a local spot than an airport grab-and-go.”

I was purchasing donuts for my employees this morning and was encountering some issues with the payment reader. Gracie and her coworker (I unfortunately didn't catch her name), handled everything splendidly and were so very friendly. We need more kindness in this world.
I looked at the website to see what I wanted to try. The ladies at the counter had no clue what your drinks of the month are. Still good coffee.
I've had coffee (usually just a plain latte) from this place several times while flying through ANC. It has been hit or miss.. a couple of excellent cups and a couple of watery ones. I also had their breakfast burrito once, and it was pretty darn good. It's probably one of the better quick bites you'll be able to get here, but it'll cost you! Service is consistently good, especially for early mornings at an airport. I'm sure I'll keep giving them my business from time to time if I'm flying in the morning; in my opinion, there aren't really better options for coffee or a quick breakfast bite at the airport.
I stopped in here to get a caramel frappe before a short flight. The frappe was a decently priced drink and tasted just okay. It was watery, and the whip wasn't exceptional either. The service was quite good, and the barista was helpful. That's about it.
When in Ted Stevens Airport, skip Mickey D's and Cinnabon and head over to Denali Pretzel for coffee, donut or breakfast sandwich. Conor offered to clean our Yeti cup for some Kaladi brew. He toasted us a egg and sausage muffin and a ham and cheese pretzel. Nice 5am snack replacing the Delta Cheezits for our breakfast on the long flight to Seattle. Thanks Conor! Merry Christmas. Stay Safe.
