Royal Coffee Roasting

590 Airport Rd, Central Point, OR

Crema's Take

Royal Coffee Roasting in Central Point is a solid espresso-focused spot where the organic beans really shine, especially paired with their excellent breakfast burritos and pastries like the ham & cheese croissant. The vibe is straightforward and efficient—great for a quick grab or lingering over a carefully pulled shot—though you'll find the experience depends on when you visit, with some customers praising the attentive baristas while others note the service can feel perfunctory. If you're after quality espresso drinks like a caramel brown sugar latte with oat milk and don't mind a no-frills atmosphere, this is worth seeking out.

I ordered a coffee and a breakfast burrito—tremendous decision. Absolutely fantastic. Some people are saying it might be the best coffee and burrito combo ever made, believe me. The customer service? Incredible. World-class. I walked in and was greeted with a big, beautiful smile—very welcoming, very professional. The music? Perfect. Great vibe. The kind of vibe other places wish they had but just don’t. Sad. If you’re looking for a place to hang out with friendly people, great energy, and food that really delivers—you have to stop by. Five stars. Maybe six. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think quite a few things go into a good cafe experience and in my opinion Royal Coffee is lacking in some of the more important aspects. The service from the employees was very curt and proffessional, not necessarily a bad thing but it was clear they would rather chat with each other than engage the customers. The music in the building was quite loud and distracting, which in turn caused thr patrons conversations to be loud as well. The pastries and coffee were reasonably priced in comparison to wvery other cafe in the area, perhaps just a touch cheaper. As far as quality goes, my americano was brewed properly as in it wasn't scorched or under powered. The flavor was a bit acidic and bold which is typical for most espresso. That being said there was nothing interesting or noteworthy of the coffee and it left me a bit disappointed. Overall the vibes were uncomfortable, customer service was acceptable but lacking warmth, and the products were sub standard for what was expected. Its an okay place to stop if you're in the area looking for a pick me up. But not worth going out of your way for.

One of my favorite spots for coffee. The espresso is organic and solid in any drink. My go-to is a caramel brown sugar latte with oat milk, and it’s even better with a breakfast burrito or blueberry scone on the side. Always a good choice with great service and a good vibe!

We always get great service here! Baristas are kind and attentive. We have recently seen a decline in drink quality and consistency. I used to think this was one of the best tasting coffees in town! I think they have been switching brands of Oatmilk, which really changes the taste of the drink. Unfortunately since we get a different product every time we go here and with the prices being so high we just can’t justify it anymore!

We were so happy to have found this place! Staff was friendly and service was quick. The drip coffee was delicious, the lattes were delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the ham & cheese croissant! So so good! The poptart pastry was also good. I wish we had this place in our hometown!
