Crema's Take
“Tucked away on Driggs Ave, this cozy spot has mastered the art of Asian-inspired cafe drinks that feel like luxurious indulgences—their black sesame latte with white chocolate and iced strawberry matcha are the standout stars that keep locals returning again and again. Beyond the beautifully executed specialty drinks, they've nailed the pastry game too, with croissants that genuinely rival the best in Brooklyn. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a slow afternoon, there's a warmth here that makes every visit feel like stumbling upon your new favorite neighborhood gem.”

We were lucky to stumble across this little hole in the wall! The tiramisu and black sesame latte were perfectly balanced, velvety, rich, hugs in cups. Definitely go with the sesame latte (without white chocolate) if you want something unique and not too sweet. Our barista was kind and quick. The place is very small so you’ll be taking your coffee to go, but the decor is minimalistic yet warm and we enjoyed browsing the cat themed trinkets for sale. Highly recommend!
I've been there 3 times already and wow, we tried their black sesame latte with white chocolate and the matcha with white chocolate, also matcha sweetened with maple syrup, and matcha with honey – all of them delicious! And don't even get me started on their mochi brownie, absolutely amazing! So if you're a matcha lover, you have to check this place out! 💚🍵
I got a black sesame latte with white chocolate and my chummy over here got a matcha hot white chocolate. IT WAS SO GOODDDDD especially for the chilly season. And the white chocolate was an amazing sweetener. I was a little intimated because of how cute and small the shop was but the worker was so so nice and made me feel really comfortable. The shop was nice and warm too and there was a lot of cute cat themed stuff. I literally couldn’t stop thinking about the drinks throughout the rest of my journey in the day and I tried my buddy’s drink. Quite the quality drink, the matcha came through really well.
In a neighborhood saturated with coffee shops… this is my favorite spot for matcha especially their outrageously good iced strawberry matcha- but also they have a black sesame latte that feels like a full body hug. Seriously. It’s tiny and they have cutesy art items, coffee and tea for purchase, some baked goods. I really really like this spot and may be in my top three coffee shops I Brooklyn.
A perfect pit stop on Driggs Ave. Whether I’m heading into the city or just about to start my day, Kijitora never disappoints. Their croissants—plain or chocolate—are on another level, genuinely the best I’ve had in Brooklyn, baked fresh right there in the shop. Every pastry feels like it just came out of the oven, and you can taste the care in each bite. Drinks are always spot-on too, consistently balanced and smooth. It may be a small café without a full kitchen, but the atmosphere and quality are insanely good. A true neighborhood gem.
