Not a bad ship to grab a hot latte and breakfast. They had lots of options and were tasty!

I love this place. It's always a clean, comfortable spot and everything I've picked up has been delicious. Every staff member that I've interacted with has been very friendly and polite. The blueberry lemonade is my favorite!

Looking for a place to enjoy coffee drinks, pastries, and light foods? If you happen to be in the Clear Lake area and are craving these types of food and drink, a good choice of places to visit is La Mer Café. La Mer Café looks like a small coffee shop from the outside, and I wasn’t expecting much elbow room when I pulled into the lot and walked through the door for the first time. But I quickly learned that this is a larger establishment than I first thought. There are rooms off to the right side, and they have couches and other seating. I was happy to see this, because I prefer to sit on a couch with my wife whenever I visit a coffee house. Moving to the food and drink, I liked what I experienced at Le Mer Café. They serve pastries, like most coffee shops, plus hot sandwiches like Pesto Grilled Cheese, Pepperoni Pizza Panini, and others. They have a good assortment of coffee drinks, as expected. My favorite is their hot mocha. They serve cold drinks, too, like iced lattes, cold brew, and iced mocha. If you’re not in the mood for coffee, they serve tea, lemonade and energy drinks, among others. Another thing I like about La Mer Café is that the hot coffee is served in an actual coffee cup. This is how I like to drink my coffee. I don’t like how some coffee shops serve hot drinks in disposable cups. Actual coffee cups not only add to the homey mood, they are also better for helping the hot coffee to cool down faster. Coffee shops are everywhere, but they are not all created equally. La Mer Café has more to offer than meets the eye, with good tasting hot and cold drinks and a comfortable atmosphere that feels like home.

Every time we come here we leave happy! Stopped by today and got this pistachio + hazelnut chocolate croissant and let me tell you we were very sad when we finished it. Both were SO DELICIOUS!!! Their iced latte and iced mocha are our favorites…very strong which we love! 10/10

The first cafe stop on our TX weekend getaway did not disappoint. I had a delicious latte with attend half and half and my wife got some iced sugar free latte concoction I couldn't begin to explain, but they made it and she loved it. The barista offered us some complimentary biscotti which my wife said was excellent. The ambiance here was very pleasant. Good lighting, chess boards, multiple seating rooms. Including a love seat in one of the corners. With options like La Mer I have no idea how vastly inferior placeslike Starbucks and Dunkin can survive. It just goes to show you that most American consumers value speed over quality. I'll always look for places like La Mer to visit first. Great spot! I'll be back before we head out of town!
