Emerald City Bagels
665 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta, GA
Crema's Take
“This Beltline-adjacent spot nails that cozy NYC bagel shop energy with generously schmeared bagels and solid coffee that keeps locals coming back between runs and walks. The Suffolk lox sandwich is a standout, and their thoughtful vegan options show real care for diverse tastes, though the bagels skew a bit thin for traditionalists. It's the kind of place that fills up quickly because people genuinely love it, so expect some wait during peak times but friendly staff who make it worth your while.”

Really good bagel sandwiches. I try to finish long runs here to get the Suffolk (Lox sandwich). I wish the bagels were a tad bigger and chewier, but the sandwich selections are great and it’s a good vibe. Wish there were a little more seating. I’ll take these any day over the DIY bagel experience at an influencer wannabe chain place down the street.
Was enjoying a walk on the beltline the other day and stopped in for a bagel and cup of coffee. Both were absolutely delicious and the staff was very kind and attentive. Also I really enjoyed all the seating options both inside and outside the restaurant. It’s imperative right now that we support our local businesses and restaurants that make Atlanta feel like home.
Bagels are fabulous with loads of schmear, and the drinks hit the spot too! Tons of fun options, super friendly staff, and the vibe totally feels like a classic NYC bagel shop. Since it’s right on the Beltline, it gets busy—but the flow’s solid, so you can grab your goodies and bounce pretty quick.
I’ve been to two Emerald City Bagels locations and loved both! Their bagels are so filling, and the branding is so cute. Love their multiple vegan-friendly topping/schmear options as well! Totally recommend going for the experience.
We went at a terrible time it was very crowded and overwhelming, and something that should have been maybe a ten minute stop turned into a 45-minute one. But the coffee, seltzer and bagels were really good. I got a vietnamese cold brew and a pastrami on rosemary salted. There could have been more mustard and onions on the sandwich, but it was good. The house made seltzer was very flavorful and the other bagel disappeared in minutes.
