The Sweet Spot
4215 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV
Crema's Take
“This Chinatown Plaza dessert destination prioritizes aesthetic charm over consistency, with a beautifully designed intimate space that seats just four customers and doubles as a curated accessories shop. While the crepes and gelato offerings sound appealing on paper, reviewers frequently report quality issues like grainy, metallic-tasting gelato and bland execution, alongside some concerning gaps like staff unfamiliarity with menu items. If you're drawn to the cozy, gallery-like atmosphere and are willing to treat a visit as more about the experience than the food, it could work for an unhurried afternoon—just manage expectations on the actual quality of the sweets.”

Asked for an affogato they didn’t know what it was even though it’s on the menu. I ordered a scoop of tres leches gelato instead and it was the worst gelato i’ve ever had it tasted grainy and metallic. I asked them if I could switch it for something else and they said no. We also ordered a crepe and that was good but it was $20 for both. Someone after me came in specifically asking for a boba drink and when they made it they didn’t give him boba and still had him pay extra after they made it wrong. So if you come the only thing worthwhile is the crepes
The Sweet Spot is a dessert shop in Chinatown Plaza on Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas. It opened in 2019 and is owned by Tiffany T., who combined her love of sweets and handmade accessories to create a space that’s part café, part boutique.
There were no gelato flavors, and the ice cream I ordered tasted weird and grainy. I threw away most of it as it was gross. The spoon was a sample spoon, tiny. The shop is cluttered with stuff to buy like knock off name-brand jewelry and keychains. I don’t understand the high reviews. Maybe the have more selections if it was a weekend? Won’t be coming back.
Wow. Ok guys. Here is the real review. All the reviews and pics looked awesome, came in and there was 4 flavors of gelato almost all empty, so went for the crepes. They were just bland and ok, got a side of icecream wasn’t anymore then 2 spoon fulls and the water cup was a gulp. There is seatings for 3, and lots of jewelry for sale… after a $20 taxi ride here and $30 for 2 crepes ….. you do the math
Visiting Vegas & this place was on my to go list for some dessert. The restaurant is very small with only 4 seats for customers but the interior design was absolutely beautiful. The lady that took my order was very sweet. My crepes were beautiful and delicious. I got the strawberry banana chocolate crepe and it was amazing. They were made fresh, the wait wasn't long. Definitely recommend the crepes. The ice cream that came with the crepes was good, I just wish I chose the vanilla one instead.
