Kneads Bakeshop

Crema's Take
“Kneads Bakeshop is a beloved neighborhood gathering spot where the pace is deliberately slow and unhurried, perfect for lingering over coffee and a flaky pastry rather than rushing through your morning. Beyond the traditional drinks, what really sets it apart is the full breakfast and creative light fare—think standout biscuits and gravy alongside surprising salads with house-made yogurt sauces—all made with the care of a true bakeshop. It's the kind of place where you'll see regulars settling in for hours, families spreading across multiple tables, and bartenders who genuinely remember you.”

Came here mid morning. The wait wasn’t terrible, 15-20 minutes but got packed very quickly. Table service was a bit slow but wasn’t in a hurry. Coffee was pretty good. The biscuit and gravy was great although some more sausage gravy with such a large biscuit would have been preferred. Overall though it was very good.
Kneads was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. Although the wait time was a bit longer than expected and the service felt slightly slow at times, those minor drawbacks quickly faded once the food arrived. Every dish looked like it belonged on the pages of a high-end culinary magazine and tasted just as impressive, with incredible attention to detail and flavor. The interior design of the restaurant was breathtaking—beautifully curated, elegant, and thoughtfully laid out. The flow of the space felt refined and upscale, creating an atmosphere that truly elevated the entire dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you can appreciate not just the food, but the artistry and intention behind the setting as well. Despite limited parking, the overall experience more than justified the effort. From the ambiance to the presentation and quality of the food, Kneads easily earns a spot in my top three restaurants of all time. It’s a destination worth visiting and revisiting, and an experience I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something special.
I stopped in on Tuesday for a quick lunch. I had the winter market salad and it was so dynamite! I absolutely love the unique yogurt sauce that it was over and there was copious amounts of goat cheese. Super fresh veggies I’m not typically a huge salad person and this was amazing! I was met with friendly and super speedy service. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area. The inside is so beautiful as well and was all decorated for the holidays! Great spot to grab lunch with a friend!
This review is for bartender brunette Stephanie! We interacted with two Stephanies, the other had braids and glasses we chatted with her too, but she wasn’t our angel of a bartender who waited on us! I can’t say enough about Stephanie. She really gave thorough food recommendations, went above and beyond to give us info about their bakery, told us about their classes and joked with us about legoland lol. She was clearly busy also helping with tables, but that didn’t stop her from giving amazing, prompt service. She’s great vibes, will absolutely be back because of the service alone. And the food here never ever disappoints. That ham and cheese croissant was so yummy, great sauce and portion! Worth a visit for legit any dish.
Spending time in Maryland at the Baltimore Inner Harbor has been quite an experience. It's been around 30 years since my last visit, and I have noticed a lot of changes over time. The hotel situation here has really improved, with a plethora of eateries and, of course, the Inner Harbor Aquarium. While exploring the city, we stumbled upon a bakery that left quite an impression on me. The sheer size of the bakery indicated that they likely have a booming wholesale business in addition to their retail sales. They also had a charming souvenir shop and offered a variety of freshly baked goods. Although the restaurant itself was not very crowded, the bakery was bustling with activity. It appeared that they were preparing for the next day's wholesale deliveries as well as catering to the restaurant's needs. While we did not dine there on this occasion, I am eager to return and try the restaurant in the future. It looked very inviting, and I am sure it is a popular spot during the work week.
